Her specialty is surgical nursing, with interests in neurosurgery, wound care, operating room nursing and pain control. She earned her B.Sc. from Uludağ University (2005), M.Sc. from Eskişehir Osmangazi University (2008) and Ph.D. from Istanbul University (2013).
She was appointed Professor in 2025 after becoming Associate Professor in 2019 and Assistant Professor in 2016 at Trakya University Faculty of Health Sciences. Since September 2024 she has served as Vice Dean; since March 2024 as Head of Surgical Nursing; and since October 2024 as ERASMUS Faculty Coordinator.
She previously worked as a hemodialysis nurse at Fresenius Medical Care Bursa Dialysis Center (2005–2013) and completed Erasmus+ staff teaching/internship mobilities at Tetova and Elbasan.
