Prof. Ashley Ross
Associate Professor and former Interim-Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Durban University of Technology (DUT), South Africa; former Head of the Department of Homeopathy at DUT.
He has been in private practice and teaching homeopathic philosophy and materia medica for 30 years, as well as engaging in clinical and research supervision (60 completed Masters and 5 PhDs). He has delivered lectures and seminars in South Africa, India, Latvia and the UK, presented research papers at congresses in 16 countries, and reviews for seven international medical journals.
Sub-Editor (Clinical Research) of the International Journal of High Dilution Research (IJHDR) and an internationally regarded expert in the field of homeopathic provings. He served as the representative for Homoeopathy on the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) for 10 years (2006–2016) and thereafter as a representative for Homeopathy on the Professional Board for Homoeopathy, Naturopathy and Phytotherapy (2017–2022).
Until recently, Secretary for Research of the Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI); member of the Sub-committee: Provings of the European Committee for Homoeopathy (ECH); former Trustee and current Member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Homeopathy Research Institute (HRI). He recently relocated to Baden-Baden, Germany to take up the role of Homeopathic Scientific Liaison at Biologische Heilmittel Heel.
