Friedemann Schad
PD Dr. Friedemann Schad is a clinician and scientist serving as the head physician of the Department of Interdisciplinary Oncology and Palliative Care and the Center for Oncology at the Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Havelhöhe in Berlin. He is Co-founder of the Havelhöhe Research Institute and affiliated to the Charité Competence Center for Traditional and Integrative Medicine (CCCTIM), Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
His work is dedicated to generating evidence for integrative oncology, focusing on patient centered medicine and the integration of TCIH into mainstream cancer care. His contribution to real world evidence and to early suportive cancer care provides a unique platform to translate research findings into clinical practice.
PD Dr. Friedemann Schad a board member of the Tumor Center Berlin Inc., the German Alliance of Integrative Medicine and Health (AIM), a member of the German Cancer Society (DKG), the Society of Anthroposophic Physicians (GAÄD), the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), the European Society of Integrative Medicine (ESIM) and the SIO-EUROPE leaderhip working group.
