PhD in Botany, University of Johannesburg. Author of 60+ papers and books on ethnobotany, ethnopharmacology, phytotherapy and natural product regulation. USP expert committee member since 2015; board member of the International Society for Ethnopharmacology and the American Botanical Council.
Adjunct Assistant Professor, University of Illinois Chicago School of Pharmacy; Adjunct Fellow, National Center for Naturopathic Medicine, Southern Cross University (Australia). Co-founder of the Southern African Botanical Products Association (SABPA, 2023).
