Dr. Michelle Loy, MD, FAAP is a internationally recognized quadruple board-certified physician who received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College, her doctorate in medicine from Weill Cornell Medical College, her pediatrics residency training from New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell, and her adult/pediatric integrative medicine fellowship training from Columbia University/Stamford Hospital.

She provides integrative medicine/lifestyle medicine consultations at NYU Langone to solve challenging clinical problems across the spectrum of general and subspecialty pediatric, adolescent, and adult medicine. She utilizes  evidence-based interventions from both modern medicine and time-tested traditional modalities including nutrition, movement, acupuncture, botanicals, and mind-body medicine.

She currently serves as the Director of the Griffin Healthspan & Vitality Center and the Director of Integrative Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, and Wellness across the NYU-Langone Enterprise.  She holds leadership positions at the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, American Board of Integrative Medicine, Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.  As a Professor at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, she frequently presents to physicians, patients, and the community on her clinical and research interests which include nutrition (culinary medicine, botanical medicine), integrative oncology, narrative medicine, shared medical appointments, women’s health, and children’s health.

She serves on various advisory boards including Plant Powered Metro New York, T Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, and Hear Your Song, American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, and the International Network of Integrative Pediatrics.

In her recreational time, she enjoys reading, swimming, running, exploring farmer’s markets, and creating healthful, whole-food, plant-forward meals for her family.
