Dr. Konstantina Theodoratou
Dr. Konstantina Theodoratou after completing her Medical degree at the University of Athens- Greece went to China for 3 years to study acupuncture in Tianjin and Beijing Universities. She further deepened her studies in Guangzhou (Canton) University where she obtained her MSc in Chinese Medicine. She has also specialised in Medical Psychology, Addiction Counselling, Neuroscience and Psychological diseases, Health Coaching, Clinical Diet at the University of Athens – Greece, Music therapy and Lifestyle Medicine at Doane University, USA.
She works at Acupuncture Private Clinic since 1996 in Athens Greece and she lectures at the Greek Institutes of Medical Acupuncture. She has participated in research, mostly concerning behavior patterns in relation to Acupuncture conducted by the Academy of Athens Biomedical Institute (2012-) and lectured in various congresses.
Konstantina is the General Secretary of ICMART, International Council of Medical Acupuncture and Related Techniques (2020-) and President and founder of the Scientific Association of Medical Acupuncture in Greece (SAMAG) and Director of the Educational Program of SAMAG since 2010. She was President of ICMART from 2014 to 2018.
She is also the scientific President and Founder of the Interdisciplinary Acupuncture Symposium held in Athens every year since 2013.
