Dr. Anna Katharina Koch
Dr. Koch holds a doctorate in psychology with expertise in psychometrics, biometrics, and clinical trials. Since 2016, her research has focused on integrative medicine, where she combines occupational psychology with integrative approaches, particularly regarding the prevention and treatment of burnout. She is Treasurer of the European Society for Integrative Medicine (ESIM) since 2025 and currently leads the Unit for Quantitative Research Methods and Biostatistics at the Charité Competence Center for Traditional and Integrative Medicine (CCCTIM).
Dr. Koch received her doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) from the Department of Occupational and Organizational Psychology at the University of Hamburg in 2017. She previously completed a Master of Science in Psychology (2013) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2010) at Bielefeld University.
She has been a Research Associate at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin since 2022, working in the field of health promotion, prevention, and integrative medicine. Since 2020, she has also worked as a freelance consultant in methodology and biometrics. Prior to this, she held research positions at the Clinic for Naturopathy and Integrative Medicine at Kliniken Essen-Mitte, Faculty of Medicine, University of Duisburg-Essen (2016–2022) and the Department of Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Hamburg (2013-2015).
