He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Pharmacy (2001), earned an MSc (2004) and PhD (2011) in Pharmacognosy at the same institution, and received Associate Professorship in 2017. He conducted research at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (2006) and University of Münster (2010), and attended training at CAMAG Laboratories, Switzerland (2014).
His research focuses on standardization of herbal products, HPLC/HPTLC analysis, phenolic compounds, and in vitro bioactivity assays. He has 50+ peer-reviewed publications, 40+ congress presentations, h-index 15 and 500+ citations. He has served as Vice Dean and board/commission member at Ankara University Faculty of Pharmacy and on boards of TEB Pharmacy Academy, FABAD, and FFD.
