Resumé
Rhiannon Lewis is a clinical aromatherapist with more than 36 years’ experience. She is director of Essential Oil Resource Consultants (France) with a mission to educate healthcare professionals in the safe and effective delivery of evidence-based aromatherapy in clinical settings around the world. She has a special interest in supportive oncology care. As part of this mission, she is also founder and director of The International Clinical Aromatherapy Network (ICAN), connecting more than 2000 aromatherapy professionals based in 90+ countries.
An international bridge builder, Rhiannon is host of professional aromatherapy conference events since 2012, providing learning and networking opportunities for aromatherapists, researchers and health professionals from around the world.
Formerly editor of the International Journal of Clinical Aromatherapy, Rhiannon is a contributing author to a number of fundamental texts on essential oils including the Handbook of Essential Oils : Science, Technology, and Applications (editor K Husnu Basr: Routledge). She is also a member of the scientific board of the Gattefossé Foundation (France).
