Biography and Expertise of Prof. Thomas Ostermann

Thomas Ostermann is a mathematician by training and since 2015 appointed to the Chair for Research Methodology and Statistics in Psychology at Witten/Herdecke University. Since 2016, he is elected Head of the Department for Psychology and Psychotherapy. His research interests include the development and application of statistical methods for Health Services Research and Psychology, Research in Digital aspects of Creative Arts Therapies and the development of E-Health and M-Health applications. He has co-authored more than 400 peer-reviewed publications and is a member of the German Society for Psychology, the German Society for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology and founding board member of the Scientific Society for Creative Art Therapies (WFKT).
